The MVAC, a wet-vacuum DNA collection system, is used for extracting surface and embedded touch DNA. The M-Vac has proven to be more efficient and expansive than traditional swabbing methods. The Bardole Method ®, has effectively been used to obtain DNA from smaller items of evidence where traditional swabbing methods cannot reach such as shell casings, bullets, firearm components, fingernails, jewelry, etc. |
